If you are looking to rent a property or need to move, have you considered social housing?

Find out all about it by attending a special event arranged by Kettering Borough Council, in partnership with a variety of housing associations and local partners: the Keyways event is being held on Saturday October 11 at the Municipal Offices, Bowling Green Road.

Go along to the Keyways event to register onto the Keyways Housing Register, have your application fast-tracked and meet housing and related support partners.

Visit between 9am and 3pm for an opportunity to explore what social housing is available in Kettering borough, while staff assist you through the application process. By attending the Keyways event, if you have an active application, you will benefit from being able to express an interest in available properties. In order to take advantage of this offer, you must take evidence of your circumstances along with you on the day.

Additionally, the following information will be available in the Central Exhibition Area:

  • local housing associations
  • House Exchange partners
  • furniture re-use projects
  • low cost handyman repair services
  • money, debt and benefit advice

You will also be able to explore Kettering Borough Council’s supported housing opportunities and be assessed for sheltered housing.

On the day, a children’s colouring competition, free refreshments and a prize draw for the chance to win a £50 Love2Shop gift voucher are also being held.

You’ll be able to join Keyways on the spot and start bidding for properties straight away.
